Larger fuel lobe option. Any inputs on this?

I have a texas speed stage 2 cam with the 32 percent fuel lobe option. My very basic understanding is this increases fuel. Does it simply enable more flow? Or does it change pressure? I know the ECU controls the high fuel pressure so it should not matter as much in the tune. What I have experienced in my tuning process is changing the SOI injection table made a major power increase from stock. Would that have anything to do with this fuel lobe option?

I did a larger lobe as well but in the end the injector is going to flow only as much as it was engineered to do. It may or can help with starvation near the limit if modified and get a little more psi/flow per cycle.SOI/EOI is dependent on individual cam timing if not stock.

so did you need to change anything in the calibration for the 32% lobe?

    my guess is no?

when i checked the before and after datalogs; the pressure didnt really change a whole lot. i did receive a little more volume and less inj PW

you don't need to change the tune for a fuel lobe
