VY commodore Trip Computer not working - Tune related or BCM?

Hi All,

This one might be specific for the commodore guys, as it would be a VY commodore problem if it weren't in a Pontiac TransAM :P


The trip computer is not working on my car. I have a SBC with LS1 conversion running a 0411PCM and HPTuners custom OS speed density setup.
I've also installed the BCM and VY commodore gauges and everything is working as intended, speedo, rpm, fuel, coolant etc, but the trip computer isn't showing any data when I cycle through. No distance to empty, instantaneous fuel usage etc.

Is this data received by the gauge cluster from the PCM (serial data) or BCM (ALDL data)?

It's not super important, but it'd be nice t see some of the info to get an idea how far off my tune is at the moment.

Any ideas?

Not 100% on Commodore but from what i know with the US chevy stuff the BCM Or CCM should be doing this but they would need to get information from the PCM to make the calulations.
