    Aem 30-0334

    Hi all,

I have an AEM 30-0334 WB gauge that I was initially going to use with my 2017 C7 Stingray. But I'm out of that and in a 2004 C5 Corvette.

Will this gauge work (somehow)? I understand that this generation of PCM doesn't really support the OBDII passthru for logging the WBO2. Even if it can be made to work, is there a better setup to use instead? (I could sell this and get the preferred one).

    Thanks!

Yeah it still will work just fine.

If you have the pro mpvi it will hook up like any other wideband would. If you own the standard version just do the wideband through the EGR circuit through the computer with the 5v reference wire they give you with the wideband.

Several write ups on here and on youtube for setting up the wideband in your logs.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

You can add the analog and output pins to the connector and use the 30-0334 just like the non-OBDII 30-0300. Only difference is that you cant use the CAN data interface with the prolink, since it is being used for OBDII data.

The pins are cheap. Get a few extra, since you have to pay shipping, anyway.

If I didn't have the 0334, what would be recommended setup. 0300X? 0310X? I don't need a gauge, just to log.

If you don't need the display, the 30-0310 is the simplest/cleanest solution with the best performance. Once the pro-link CAN interface is up and reading the AEMNet digital data, it will be the best overall setup. i.e. if you don't need the display, it's just something else to go wrong Other than that, the 30-0300 with the CAN pro-link interface has the most flexibility. The 30-0334 would be for non-PRO setups on CAN based ECUs. ( or, super simple setup )
