Post injection for quicker spool up

I am always fighting spool up here high up in the rockies. I get a lot of smoke and lag down low, not at all up high. Can anyone school me on how to use the 3rd event to help with this? I am looking for some sort of starting point.

    Thanks!!

In the regions of slow spool add back stock timing and quantity and play with it from there

My recent tune. I had the post set around 11 and it worked ok but still smoke. I moved it to 15 and will try when we thaw out and after I reinstall my transfer case.

The 03 is different from the 04.5, and just way too many variables involved to say ones timing table needs to look like someone else?s timing table

Just curious, why should my timing look like that? Are you basing that on my other settings? Seeing how your truck has a different setup and is an 03, wouldn't that tune be way off for me? Just curious and still learning.

    Thanks.

I'm going to disagree with you. Especially with big injectors there is no reason to have that much timing at low RPM. You are sacrificing spool up and probably have more smoke than needed with that table. The top end looks pretty good. Nice and smooth but nice and smooth on a graph doesn't always mean anything.
