Hey guys newbie here had done a simple tune on a 14 gt mustang and was driving just had issues at cold start up. Was doing write calibration now I tried a write entire and vehicle won?t crank, security light came on, any help is highly appreciated

Your battery is probably too low. This has happened to me on my 14 GT.. I usually just jump it with my truck then it writes perfectly. Now I make it a habit to start and let it run for 10 minutes then shut it off to flash.
I 100% would not have done the write entire though...

Glad I could help. I was so worried when that first happened to me... The deal is it's easier to recover from a failed write cal than a failed write entire. Something I have wondered though is if I wanted to return to 100% stock like from the dealership or do I need to write entire?

write cal only is faster than write entire on fords, its literally the only reason we added it. Fords don't suffer from the majority of recovery issues GM's and other makes do so that really isn't the reasoning behind it. Mainly just for speed.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
