is there anyway can control thermostat open timing?
is there anyway can control thermostat open timing?
No.
Thermostat is a mechanical part. You choose what temp thermostat you want to run.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.
If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
thanks.
i checked thermostat. it works by heat coil, heat coil push wax type.

Go to Fans > Control by ECT > Desired ECT and lower the temp values. As per the service manual, the stat begins to open at 103C with 0 volts, and 80c with 12 volts.
So looks like the lowest temp settings would be 80C for the Desired ECT table. Then lower the fan temps to suit.
