    gm e83 ecm control thermostat open temp.?

    is there anyway can control thermostat open timing?

    No.

    Thermostat is a mechanical part. You choose what temp thermostat you want to run.
    2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

    If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

    thanks.
    i checked thermostat. it works by heat coil, heat coil push wax type.
    so i guess ecm control heat coil timing..

    No... the ECM controls fan turn-on temps (Electric fans only). There is no such heat coil timing. The thermostat opens with coolant temperature. If you have a 180 degree thermostat, the thermostat will open when the engine coolant temp reaches 180 degrees.

    thanks..
    so with out thermostat open early,, controls fan turn on low temp is not very help for cooling coolant......

    What temp thermostat do you currently have?

    top of thermostat has 2 electric wire.

    Go to Fans > Control by ECT > Desired ECT and lower the temp values. As per the service manual, the stat begins to open at 103C with 0 volts, and 80c with 12 volts.

    So looks like the lowest temp settings would be 80C for the Desired ECT table. Then lower the fan temps to suit.
