Maf signal lost after swap to card style maf

So I went from a standard style MAF housing to the card style LS3 MAF. The car is a Chevy SS with an LS3 and the connection was the same plug. So I plugged it in thinking it would work right off the bat and I got nothing. The car starts but it is getting zero input from the MAF. Does it need an adapter or something? Anyone else run into and issue with this? Does the Chevy SS use the old style L76/LS2 plug? I've seen some 5 pin to 5 pin conversions before but I figured those were because the connection was just different. This one plugged right in.

the ls2 uses different connector i think, if it fit check the pinout maybe its wired as ls2 not ls3.

dont forget to change the maf scale and the maf fail frequency and the intake air temp scale

I switched to the card style in my 2008 Sierra. The plugs were different, but the order of the pins was as well. Get the appropriate diagrams and arrange the pins correctly.
