1998 black box 383 will not correlate correct p1345
Hello everyone, I'm looking for some help. Have a 1998 3500 5.7 4l80e, been stroked and cam, and aluminum heads. the issue is with the cam dialed in at 107 per cam card, can not get the cam and crank to sync. Ive dropped the distributor in at least 10 times and i can get neg 5 degrees and then hit intake manifold with distributor. Move distributor the other direction and i will be + 5 degrees and hit the number one distributor cap on fuel lines. bent fuel line and can get it to +1 degree. will crank learn but at idle and cruising speed will get p0300 code. Have tested and replaced cap plugs to a hotter plug, injector spider, adjusted valves twice, and leak down test all is good. i feel it is with the cam distributor drive gear causing sync and miss fires. Has anyone dealt with this issue.

If the cam retard is within +10/-10, that is within spec. As for the P0300, that is normal with a cam with more overlap than stock.
You need to max out the misfire tables up to about 2500 rpm.
