    2011 Sierra 6.2l P0010 after LS7 cam

As tittle says 2011 GMC Sierra 6.2L. Just installed LS7 and removed/ converted to LS3 front cover. I have turned off all necessary DTC's and drop downs for removing VVT. Trucks runs very well, but have a P0010 (cam position actuator control solenoid circuit) stored a Permeant code. Not sure if I stupidly missed something or not?

    Tune attached.

    Thanks in advance

Maybe...during the front cover change, something in the cam phaser circuitry got messed up?

I should add...my gut tells me an LS7 cam in a truck's six-two wouldn't work very well down low but would work well up high. What has been your experience so far when hauling a load or towing with that truck?

Did you use the LS7 rockers, too, or just the cam?

I was quite surprised by the power, haven't toed anything. power and torque were respectable 381tq 366hp. has 300 tq by 2500rpm, pulls to about 6300 rpm

Cant use the LS7 rockers on a LS3 head, I did trunnion upgrade on the stock 1.7 rockers. Also the Intake centerline is 120* on a ls3 vs the 123* on an LS7. Crank gear is degreed different.

Permanent codes won't just go away, so if you aren't seeing any issue because of the code then nothing is really wrong.

It may go away someday somehow or it needs the problem fixed for it to go away but that won't exactly happen in your case.

A few drive cycles and it should disappear.

It's a good thing it was advanced some cause the IVC point is pretty far out for a truck. Always wondered how one of them would do in a car or truck.

I used an adjustable timing set, because I was unsure where the ICL would be, but ended up at being straight up. Now im thinking about advancing the cam another 2-3* and see where the torque curve goes.

Also I have 1500-2000 miles on this setup, and thus should have had many drive cycles to clear out the permanent code.
