Any way to add a marker in a log while recording ?

I have an Idle issue I want to add a marker to so when I go back to review I can spot it more easily.

Unfortunately this feature has not been implemented yet, no eta.

You could if you have a Pro, set an external pushbutton to one of the external inputs, use a battery as a power source and set it to monitor it on the charts.

I have not done it but see no reason why it cant be done pretty easily.
