    Need driver demand explained

    Alright so I have been searching all over and I have not come across a proper explanation of the driver demand table. The car is a 18 camaro ss, I have been making very slight adjustments across the board to gain some throttle response in the lower area of the pedal and it has worked but with some minor draw backs in certain portions of the throttle. Now my questions are what does it mean by RPM OR VSS because the X row is not in rpm being numbered 0 to 210. What are the actual cells changing? im assuming is predicted torque but then that also leaves the question why is the upper right area of the table negative? Just looking to clarify what this table is all about.

    driver demand is a power amount demanded by the driver with pedal input and is the beginning of the torque throughput process/calculation.

    top row is kilometers per hour.

    the values in the table are kilowatts if they are smaller numbers (in the hundreds) or axle torque if they are larger numbers (in the thousands).

    ahh it makes sense now, thanks. I have never ending questions with this torque prediction style of engine control, its really overly complex and ive been messing it since the summer and its slowing coming together. Wish we still had spark cut like the 5th gens though.

    One thing I have learned recently when trying to get a m6 zl1 to launch better is the percent your seeing on the left side of the table is not your foot but the commanded tps. I first figured this out on the car just trying to make it rev out better with the clutch in sitting still. Stock or even a typically modified table floor the car and foot is at 100 percent and tps was only going to about 45 percent. So the first thing I did was convert it to rpm over from vss. I copied the manual z06 table over to the zl1 then started logging it and seeing how far the throttle would open vrs rpm point. So if was going to 45 percent at 3500 rpm and hanging I went to that row and raised the limit 5 percent. I then saw it moved up to 55 percent open I continued to do this until I had it to where I saw 90 percent on the log and the throttle on this thing is like the gen 4 now. Makes boost when you goose it and is extremely responsive not your typical gen5 throttle. I tried a little experimenting on the vss table with no luck but might not have been moving the percent up enough. It seems the manual will respond to this way as it’s on kw not axle torque. This is all in search of making the car launch better and not fall on its face. Moving cam timing closer to zero putting base minimum spark tables higher the driver demand and peak torque tables higher at lower rpms. Sucks can’t test it on the street as if it spins it opens. It has to dead hook to test it out. So far the direction seems good and hopeful it will be better on the track.
    About to start testing it on my a10 zl1 and see if can get the throttle in park or neutral actually open all the way like the manual now. So I need it on this car? No but it sure sounds good and shameful my 07 Tahoe sound more mean with the lsa on it and only 600 hp vrs my zl1 with 900 that won’t even open the throttle but 42 percent of its in park. I guess a quest to learn more if nothing else. Just not sure if going to attempt rpm on it as I hate to make it drive bad just trying to get the throttle to open as no stock table to start from where rpm and axle torque on any car. Any input is appreciated.
    First 9 second 6th gen lt4 zl1 stock blower SHC SBE boost only.

    So are you saying the y-axis is the commanded throttle blade opening? and not the accelerator position? I didn't think a commanded throttle blade percentage existed in GEN V? at least not in any tables we have access to?

    Interesting, I've not had this experience with the Pedal Position % in the Driver Demand tables. Do you think this could be skewed if the VT tables are highly modified?
