VCM Scanner Not Reading all Available PIDS on a 6l80e

I have a stand alone 6L80e with a PCS controller and no BCM. It started life as a 2009 Escalade OS 24249179. I am able to read and write a tune with no problem. Transmission shifts normal and works good. For some reason the VCM Scanner only picks up a few random PIDs:
    -Vehicle Speed
    -Engine coolant temp
    -Accelerator petal position
    -throttle position
    -control module voltage

There are a whole bunch of missing PIDs which would be helpful for trouble shooting TUTD, shifter position, etc. I have a regular OBDII scanner that has the same issues.

Does anyone have any idea what I might be doing wrong or what might be wrong with my TCM?

    Thanks

How/where is it going to read transmission data from? PCS is a standalone controller that does not interface with HPTuners...
