    Hellcrate Programming, VIN Question

I have a hellcrate motor with the hellcrate PCM.

I see that the hellcrate is a supported motor and requires to 2 credit to program.

My question is how do you get it to recognize the PCM if the PCM doesn?t have a VIN?. Or how did you write the VIN?

You should try read the pcm first. I it reads the file you should be able to make changes. You will not need credits until you are ready to write the tune file.

I thought that is only true if using an MPVI2 as I remember with the MPVI1 you could not save changes to read files without credits.

Our software uses several different ingredients in order to determine the ecm type and allow for automatic reading. The vin is just one of several things our software looks for.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
