    Saving unlicensed files

Any reason that the saving of unlicensed files is only allowed with the MPVI2 and not the MPVI1? I am trying to help my dad tune his car. He has the MPVI2 and I have the 1. Kind of a bummer I can't modify his file, save it and send it back to him to get him started.

Just one more reason to take advantage of the $189 upgrade pricing for MPVI2.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I guess I am just asking why the differentiation? I would love to upgrade, but I have 1 vehicle that I tune as a hobby and already have a lot of money stuck into this tuning module. The upgrade only gets me this ability to save, and a newer module. Am I missing something else?

MPVI1 never offered saving without a license.

    MPVI2 does.

We have no plans to allow MPVI1 saving without a license.
