05 Crown vic, lean codes after CAI

Hi guys, i installed a AFE cold air in my vic and it would throw lean codes here and there , both bank 1 and 2 randomly. Tested for vacuum leaks and eventually i just put back the factory system to see what would happend and the codes stopped. So im guessing a MAF tune is required? since it has high LTFT's? I see theres a guide on MAF tuning in the chevy section, would that still apply for fords?

Here's one of the freeze frames i got, sadly i lost the data log i had with CAI on. and ive just been busy with work and its been wayy to cold out to reinstall and do more logging.

If the inside diameter of the tube is bigger than the inside diameter of the stock maf, then yes, the whole curve needs scaled by the percentage that the new tube is bigger.

That makes sense, i didnt even think about the internal size of the tube. the stock one is like 10mm smaller.

Thanks very much i appreciate your help.
