I have a friend with a 2008 Silverado. Originally came with the 5.3 LY5. He replaced that with a 6.2 LS3 from a 2010 Camaro. It starts and runs on the factory calibration using the original truck PCM (not sure how well though). It does go into limp mode in 2wd. Apparently 4wd is fine. I'm curious what my options are and what the best option is. I'm thinking;

1.) Open both files using compare and manually transferring over the LS3 parameters to the Silverado PCM. Time consuming but it would be 100% correct calibration for this specific engine.

2.) Doing a segment swap of the engine operation segment (also engine diagnostic segment?) from a 2008 Sierra with the L92. Then tweaking a couple specific things like IFR, MAF and VE. Unsure how well this will work.

3.) Anything else.... ?
