I have a 2107 E38 PCM with 2bar OS. I am posting in gen 5 because most everything I find on gen 4 is VE not virtual torque. I do not have VE tables as an option. Looking advice on driving to get the most hits possible to adjust my VT tables. My MAF is dialed in at -1 to +1 on most logs using Lt, St and wideband. So I'm going with-- it's good enough.

I am logging both cylinder airmass and MAP. After about a 20 minute ride of streets and a little highway-- forcing revs through manual holds in the TUTD mode and playing as much as I feel comfortable with on busy streets. My graphs are fairly full using a low 3 cell hits required. However, when I put in a filter of 10, 20 or 30 spark (to match the VT row labels) it becomes sparse. I know I can do the interpolation, but on a 12x12 graph I prefer to have more than 10 or so cells to blend from.

Any suggestions beyond "drive longer"?
