Timing fluctuation when starting off and on gear changes at light throttle (manual)

2016 Whipple SS Camaro that we just did a cam in. I have done several of these with auto transmissions and never ran into this. This is the first manual one with this setup.

Has BTR blower cam w/38% fuel lobe and a whipple @7 psi. Wot and heavier load driving is fine. Just seems to want to buck and surge at light acceleration when starting from a dead stop and also on gear changes. If I do not touch the clutch I can let the rpm come down to 1K rpm and then accelerate away smoothly. Seems to be related to the clutch for some reason lol.

I am seeing some tq management spark in the scanner going crazy during the timing dips so it may be related to virtual torque. Either way here is a short log and the tune file.
