Hi guys, anyone know if an external wastegate can be tuned with HPtuners?
I see there is an option: [ECM] 45520 - Wastegate Configuration(Electronic/Pressure Actuated). But I don't know if this can be used to configure an EWG or some boost pressure solenoid.
I plan to install a Garrett Turbo and am considering my tuning options...
Just wanted to chime in and say I have also seen this switch and been intrigued by it. I believe UM supports traditional boost solenoid setups.
I think it's totally doable with this ECU, but I'm fairly certain there's a few other tables you need to adjust to make it work. I don't think HP tuners has them defined.
Hi aaronc7! Sorry, I had not seen your message, after a few days I lost hope for an answer. Luckily a turbo CTS will be installed and no external WG is required. But it is a good topic to continue. This is the stock file for a 2018 seat
