Looking at getting a 2012 Caprice. issue being looks like on HP tuners site that only a 2010 Caprice can be tuned in with program. Anyone have personally experience if it will actually work or not?

It's not updated, you can tune all the way to like 2014 or whenever they stopped making them.
It's a super common E38 computer/program and if it somehow that particular file wasn't supported it surely could be added.
You can even search the forum for different caprice files and find several different years.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.
If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
I tuned a 2012 or 2013 recently. HPT can tune it...
Daily Driver= 2003 BMW 330xi
Weekend Cruiser= 2009 Pontiac G8 GT (Vararam, TSP LS3 N/A Stage 1, OBX, CTS-V converter, MagnaFlows w/ J-Pipes, 160 t-stat)
Project Car= 1991 Chevrolet Camaro RS (LQ4 w/ Gen 4 Rods, LS3 heads, turbo...)
Truck= 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT LY5 4x4
I have a 2012 Caprice PPV with the 6.0L. I emailed HP Tuners and they confirmed that it is supported. Response was from Jan Moeller, Western US & Canada Sales Manager. [email protected]
