Nope, nobody ever.
All I can say is good luck. Assuming it's a 2500 or 3500 series truck, the best I can say is maybe you will or maybe you won't get better mpg. If fuel trims are already pretty close to zero in the logs, you won't get much better than that. It's likely that a gearing change would net you more depending on what you have now and current tire size. Bottom line, it's a heavy ass truck with an engine never meant to get that good of fuel mileage. Mid teens is pretty avg.

yes 2500, any adjustments you would recommend? trims are pretty close to zero. truck is low mileage.
Stock calibrations can be messed with alot, but you have to know how everything works together to make the most of it. Learning on the E78 controller will be a long learning curve for sure. It's more of the more advanced computers that GM uses right now.
Most of stuff is driving feel and how it can react to certain changes. Power enrichment is rather lazy for emissions reasons and fuel mileage. They don't want the truck dipping into PE all the time even when pulling a load. Changes to that can make it get up a go better.
The timing curve can be adjusted some, I've added mid range timing and cleaned/smoothed out the timing at WOT. Of course these trucks weren't running 87 octane through, 89+ at least. Maybe even some variable valve timing changes.
Transmission tuning is huge as well, makes the 6L80/6L90e's alot better to drive. Do lots of readings on some of this stuff.
