Flex fuel for an Australian Commodore

Flex fuel for an Australian Commodore

There is a lot of information on forums using a flex fuel sensor on an LS1, but nothing conclusive on an Australian Commodore. Has anybody successfully used a PO1 or P59 PCM to run a Commodore LS1 on flex fuel.

The best solution is to use an US OS with the appropriate hardware and then you're good. I know that sounds like stating the bleeding obvious, so sorry if that sounds daft. The last successful example I saw was I think (memory) a 2002 Envoy or similar GMC OS with the flex sensor wired up on a VY and it worked just fine.

Thanks for the reply, the initial testing I have done using a Tahoe Flex fuel operating system worked fine on the bench with a flex fuel sensor however would not run the engine in the car VX. Given your comment I will prepare another tune and run the test again.
