Hi I have a 09 Tahoe with the 5.3 and a 6l80e. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what to change to get a mild tune for a daily driver to make a little more power and make the tranny not shift so quickly on take off? Or does someone already have something they are using they are happy with.
This should stretch out the shifting a little bit. The 87--94--and 100 columns on your normal shift table should not be changed. Those numbers correspond with wot shifting. These two tables are probably not exactly like yours as the upshift and downshift tables are separate. Hope you get the idea.
If you would post your tune, it would be easier for someone to change your tables and then screenshot them back to you.
You can change your PE settings to come in a little sooner, but not much else---get a wideband and tune your maf and ve tables. Get a cam if you want some more power.
