2012 f-150 3.5L New guy here, Log attached, Looking for pointers on tuning

    2012 f-150 tune 3 bar 30.hpl

2012 f-150,, Could use some pointers on things i should be logging while on the dyno, Just a almost stock truck, Just a bigger intercooler. Stock turbos, Not looking to raise the boost, I read we want the ecu to control the boost on its own. Any help would be nice, Thanks

Oh ya, if i don't have enough info on this Log, Let me know. This was a log on the dyno

If you want to use my logging configuration for my 2011 I attached it.

You mentioned keeping boost stock, so what's your goal? Towing? MPG?

well We do want to make more power, But no focus on boost, If boost wants to come up, Then great, But main goal is a 92 octane tune

Can you post your ".hpt" tune file as well?

2012 f-150 Here is the current tune

    2012 ford f-150 eco boost 3 bar 34.hpt

Here is the current tune. I feel i'm struggling with learning this for torque based tuning.

In my experience the percentages in the "Mapped Point" area have always totaled up to around 100% while yours are over 700%. Not sure on the cause or fix, but it sure is odd.

My recommendation to start would be to:

-Set your Borderline spark and Engine Torque OP tables back to factory
    -Disable Transmission Torque Truncation
-Raise your speed limit or dyno in the next lower gear
-Change your Power Enrichment WOT Lambda table back to stock (as a starting point)
-Reduce the Driver Demand Desired Torque table to something more realistic

Not sure if you have seen this post...

    https://forum.hptuners.com/showthrea...-Tuning-Guides

but there is a solid step by step guide inside. I went as far as to print it, and cross out every table in the guide as I made modifications to ensure I didn't leave anything out.

Once you get knock to drop a little you will be able to add a little timing by adding some headroom to the Spark Cylinder Pressure Limit table, and in turn begin to incrementally start turning things up.

2012 f-150 Here is the current tune

    52855227_2168783076512408_7995950665186672640_n.jpg 2012 f-150 tune 46.hpl 2012 ford f-150 eco boost 3 bar 45.hpt

ok,,,,, kinda started over,,, i listen to you and did a bunch of fixing, i didnt gain much for hp,,, but was able to get my torque to come up and stay up,,,,,

I feel its still very low on torque ,,, compared to other dyno graphs i've seen floating around, and youtube dyno videos,,,, I've seen some people at 500 ft lbs,,,,

I guess i still need more learning, But happy so far, because i have no knocks
