    LT4 High Flow Injectors

I am working on a 2017 ZL1 A10. The car currently has a Whipple and an AFE intake. We added a DSX Aux fuel pump, and a smaller pulley, but we are running out of high side fuel on e85.

The owner of the car doesn't want to deal with meth as an added source of fuel, and he's wary of adding port injection to his existing setup. This leaves us with HPFP and Injectors. It seems like there is really only one option for the HPFP, and that is the one from Lingenfelter (or whoever makes it...), but there are some options when it comes to injectors.

The FIC injectors claim 30% more flow than the stock LT4 injectors, and the K-DI ones claim 52%, but cost another $1,000. Katech also sells a set that flow 30% more, but I suspect they are the same as the FIC. Does anyone here have any experience with any of these? Are the k-DI injectors worth the extra money? The goal is 700whp on e85, would the 30% injectors be enough? Could we do just the pump and not the injectors?

This is my first real foray into the high side fuel system on these engines. Educate me please.

    Thanks

700 hp is doable. But not full e85. I made 740 hp. But only could get up to 40% E 85 on LT4 fuel set up

to really start making power, gonna need a complete package. injectors, pump, and likely a cam to drive the pump. IF you wanna go fast with the lt stuff it only takes cubic$$$$

You can get just shy of 700 with the a10 on 93 with 2" headers, no cats, 103mm throttle, matched inlet, and that whipple. I usually see the LT4's stock fueling max out at around 730 whp on 25-30% ethanol with the blower swaps. If you can't run headers and/or don't have 93 in your area, you'll need at least need a cam with a bigger fuel lobe and proper pump preload to maximize the pump stroke so you can run higher e content. This is the first step in upgrading the LT4 high side. With the Lingenfelter hpfp, 7.85mm cam lobe, and the K-DI injectors, I have made an easy 800whp on 82% ethanol with an unlocked 2800 converter and a Maggie 2300.

When I installed my cam(LT1), I went with a larger lobe. I also want to stay away from meth and if possible stay with a single DI setup. Was planning on a LSFP,FIC Injectors and upgraded HPFP. I just don't want to deal with meth or another controller if I go dual injectors.

So I'm kind of asking the same thing in regards to if anybody has any firsthand knowledge with that setup. I will go with a dual if I have to but don't want to. Both come out to about the same $$.
