TCS Patch doesn?t work with E40 Custom OS

I have an 05 GTO that I removed the maf from and applied the Custom 2 Bar SD OS to. I applied the patches for the MAF Fred and TCS. Right now every time I turn the car on TRAC OFF is displayed on the dash, and I can't turn it on. I'm also popping a P0102 for the maf freq being too low, which seems obvious. Anything I'm missing to get my TCS patch to work and restore me TCS and more importantly my cruise control?!?

Change P0101 thru P0103 to "MIL on First Error" and uncheck SES. Set your "MAF Frequency Fail High" to 1. You still might have that TRAC problem though. Maybe someone with more E40 experience can chime in.

jaydubb71, just as you thought, setting those dtc's and the maf fail's did not help. Thanks for the tip tho.

If you removed the maf, did you split out the iat sensor to the intake? Dynamic air needs to be 8000 and 7900---see attachment. Your ve table is a little choppy--needs some smoothing. Did you do anything else to the car besides ditch the maf?

Awesome, I over looked those. I remember setting them awhile ago but forgot I turned the MAF back on a year ago. Anyway, yes I have a fast acting IAT split to the Vararam OTR CAI.

Mods are p&p heads, comp cams 222/224 @ .050" cam, valve springs, vararam otr, headers, cat delete, and spintech 2.5" cat back. Then various clutch, transmission, and suspension mods.

Would correcting the dynamic air possibly fix my problem of the TCS still failing? The VE table should be fixed with the trip to the tuner next month! Thanks Lakegoat.

The dynamic air won't fix the tcs. It just keeps the computer from referencing the maf. Maybe check the connections on the speed sensors on the rear diff. And the sensor on the trans. If you changed axle stubs, you could have bumped or unplugged one.
When you go SD, it does affect TCS. Maybe un apply the tcs patch and the re apply and see if that works. I don't remember if you have to write entire for it to take. It has been a long time since I did mine.

You must do a write entire for the TCS patch to work. If you already did that, then you most likely are getting the P0106 code due to your cam shaft. To fix that, disable the P101, P0106 & P121 test by maxing the Min ECT.

That's not what I said. Look in the engine diagnostic tab.
