    Question A technical question\E-Fans

    Is an EEC-V an EEC-V an EEC-V? Is the ecm the same for a cobra and my F250 gas, just with different calibrations?

    I am looking for a way to turn the electric fan controls on in my 2002 F250. Any one have any advice or a direction to point me in?

    no they arent the same.
    Each specific application has a custom modified PCM for its own needs.
    The only EEC-V PCMs that are the same will have exactly the same part #.

    All the different Ford PCM actually have different driver and sensor chips along with a different base (operating system) program running them.
    It is possible to flash in a program from another application, but the engine simply won't run.
