2008 LS3 with 2009+ Gold Plate Throttle Body REP Mode
I have a 2008 Corvette at the shop that has gone through w3 diff tuners and we are chasing an issue with the car going into REP at WOT. Getting codes 1516 and 2119. The motor in the car is a brand new LS3 crate motor and has the new gold plate throttle body. Is this my issue? I have been through the tune and temporary disabled and maxed out all air flow charts for diagnostic codes, disabled all tq management and the codes still come up as soon as you lift the throttle to shift gears at WOT. I'm pretty sure the issue is the wrong throttle body as these 2008 require the silver blade throttle bodys.
same thing here. 08 vette with new gmpp 480 crate engine. it has gold tb and end of dyno run returns to idle with 1516 and 2101.
try car's original tb and code 2176 as soon as it powers up.
you key on with 08 tb and it does it's wiggle test proceedure then is completely dead, will not move at all. 2176 only code.
