    PIDs

Hey everyone i am new to hp tuners new to fuel injection in general always been a carb guy and am trying to crossover. i am having a problem with a 5.3ls swap that is hitting but backfires through the exhaust and doesn't actually fire.i am running the pcm in speed density mode with a 3 bar map hoping to turbo it after everything is working engine wise. i assume it is a calibration issue between the crank sensor and the cam sensor but i am not sure how to fix it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Going to need you to post the tune file and logs.

Provide full parts detail so we can make sure you have the correct settings for the sensor/injectors etc etc and that you have setup the tune correctly for 3 bar speed density.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Here is the tune file and i can get the log file tomorrow for you. this is a 5.3ls with a stage 2 turbo brain tooley cam 226 235 @114 seperation with a 605 610 lift. stock bottom end 80lb delphi injectors high impedance 12 ohm with a 3 bar map. I'm not running MAF sensor or the back o2 sensors behind cats still have the 2 before. I am running stock lq4 truck intake and a 400th trans with transbrake.I have run a scan but only codes are for no purge no evap nothing stating i have a bigger problem though i suspect i am missing something still. let me know what else you need from me and thank you for your help in advance.

MAF fail high under the engine diag tab must be set to 0hz.

You also must set all 3 MAF dtc's to MIL on first error, it must trip these code to enter speed density immediately and correctly.

The 3 bar MAP you bought must have matching data in the tune file. So verify what sensor you have and if the linear and offset settings match that sensor.

Applying the 3 bar OS only does so much, it does not populate the fueling table for you. You have to go back and fill that table back in with data and populate the tune for area's above 100kpa. The primary VE table is stuck at 162, which is just flooding the engine with fuel. Copy/paste the stock VE back into the 15-105kpa and create the rest on a similar slope.

With those big injectors it's likely that you will have to scale the fueling back by 10-15% just to make it not run so rich even with a stock VE table outside of boost.

It should start and run with those changes. Tons of other things need attention like power enrichment, boost enrichment, timing curves, spark correction tables. Torque mngt and abuse modes. Transmission DTC's need to be disabled because you aren't running the stock 4L60e.

Which MAP sensor is that, part number??

Have you checked for spark, good fuel pressure?

Will it run off brake cleaner??

I think that sensor is part of your issue, that part number comes back as a 3.3 bar duramax sensor.

I remember this thread from long ago where people had problems.

You can try the settings for that sensor that they talked about in that thread but a majority of people run different 2 bar or 3 bar sensors.

I did try both settings just out of curiosity with no luck. One more question tonight I am doing this right by being in speed density mode correct? since I?m not using a maf or should I have stayed in regular mode?
