Hey I'm new to this forum and to tuning in general. My 2008 G8 GT holds on to third gear way to long! I mean like in the rev limiter for a full second or better to long! I will post my tune and see if someone can help me. Thanks in advance! I'm pretty sure it has a tune in it already but I just labeled it stock tune. 4L60E stock tune.hpt

Possible wear inside the transmission is causing it to do this.
You could try lowering the desired shift time from .34XX to .28XX or so. Also raise the shift pressure a touch and raise the on-coming pressure presets to help it shift quicker. Then reset the adaptive learning for the transmission and see how it behaves.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.
If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
135,000 only mod I know of is a cold air intake.
