g8 stalls when braking.

hey there folks, just helped a friend out tuning his 09 g8 6.0 etc. bigger cam, dod delete, catbacks, air intake. basic stuff. got the tune sorted out pretty good. when i drive it it drives fine, when he drives it, he brakes really hard and fast always. it falls on its face. has to restart it. is there something in the throttle body i should be looking at? airflow stepdown? not sure where to attack the issue. we tuned it on my dynojet just fyi. but i am new to hp tuners

Goto the trans section and check Closed Throttle Tq Mngmnt and DISABLE it. It will make the car drop spark (a bunch) during each downshift. If it drops a few gears together quickly and the spark stays low too long, you can get this. You can also have it pop back up and surge ahead (and maybe bump something; so fix that lol) from this.

This is assuming that base airflow and spark tables are other wise good.
