    How do you calculate Trans Revolutions/Mile?

    how many revoutions the shaft where the VSS sensor is located makes in a mile.

    if the VSS is mounted on the tailshaft:

    revs/mile = (gear x 63360) / (3.142 x tire height)

    if the VSS is mounted on the axle:

    revs/mile = 63360 / (3.142 x tire height)
    I count sheep in hex...

    Alright, I just tried both fomulas using stock gears (2.93s) and 3.29s. The value currently in my VCM is 3883 or something close to that. All the values I got were under 2600.

    I'm lost.....?
