    MVPI2 Power Usage?

    Can the MVPI2 be left plugged into the OBD2 for an extended period of time?

    My vehicle isn't a daily driver and I would prefer not to be repeatedly connect and disconnect the device.

    Because it uses power from the obd2 port it would drain the battery slowly, how long until your vehicle doesn't start due to dead battery would be vehicle dependent, could be several hours to a few days. We recommend unplugging it.
    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
