Lea e39a ecm swap into rail buggy

Unfamilliar with the ecotec world. I have been told that the e39a ecm will not work well as a standalone. They told me it wont run without certain BCMs and a VSS.
just looking for input, Thanks in advance!

It's does not appreciate having the correct vss removed from the harness

I haven't heard about the BCM thing. That is the E67 that doesn't like being used as a standalone.

Both work well standalone without bcm or vss, The E39 is prefered. The E67 was never a problem working standalone. Steve

You are right. Too many numbers in my head. I was thinking E69 when I wrote that.

do you have a stand alone tune you could share ? I have a 2012 regal engine in my boat that wont make power and wont rev up over 3600 rpm.
