Thank you very much. I was able to adjust the table and it definitely pops now. I have one question tho, right now it only pop once u get off throttle. Is there anything that could be adjusted that would allow it to pop just on decel like the 19s do. For example if you were to downshift.

My 17 used to pop and bang real hard on downshifts without adjusting for it. Technically the same thing should work in the areas of downshifting but I haven't tested if it affects drive-ability. You will need to datalog the car when going through the downshifts and see what torque mangement advance is doing and reference against the cells in the areas of the same tables you adjusted. Also, if when you're downshifting the RPM's exceed the areas in the minimum spark table that you've adjusted, you will need to lower them for the higher RPM ranges too.

I put my entire .12 and lower to 5 degrees once and the car sounded like a machine gun on decel and downshift at any RPM. It was so obnoxious I had to pull over and adjust the tune.

Is there anything like the GenIVs DFCO Delay to define a certain time when all DFCO conditions are met, before it will shut off the fuel?

Hi together! Im a totaly newby in using HPTuners and I hope you can help me to change my DFCO settings.
I changed the Base and Long Term tabels in the minimum Spark Tab and now I dont know whats a good way to disable DFCO (disable over high ECT maybe, but I dont know if this is a good way).

I have a 2017 Camaro V8 SS 1LT 6MT and want more or minimal the same pops and crackels on decel like when the engine is cold.
Additionally I'd like to have some stronger pops and crackels only when I am in Trackmode, pushing a button / go into the Competition Mode. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance for your help!

You need to leave DFCO enabled and at stock values. Also, you cant have factory cats on the car and expect much in the way of pops and crackles. #1) 4 cats will negate much of it. #2) The ceramic based cats cant take the abuse for too long and may fail/shatter etc. IF you want pops and bangs you need to lower the min value to 5 degrees every RPM you want them and then you can blend the values to increase as you dont need 5 degrees at high rpms for pops. I used to have mine scaled from 5 degrees at 1200 RPM to 12 degrees at 5000 RPM. But I also didn't have factory cats. That would have destroyed them.

I dont have a long term table, only a base table. I also have a 2010 Camaro which is a different generation. Is this why?

For what its worth, GM has changed the Minimum Spark values for the 2019 model Z06 for more pops from factory. If anyone wants more burbles this is an easy copy paste. Obviously if you want more than this you can lower your minimum spark to 0 degrees and disable DFCO. That is where it gets really rowdy.

Tadge himself didn't tell me so I guess it could not be the reason at all. But looking at the tunes from the 2019+ vs the older ones, there is almost no other changes. At least none that would affect engine operation. The purpose of the minimum spark from what I can tell in my experience is that it sets the floor for Torque Management Advance to use spark to reduce delivered torque. By lowering this table it allows TMA to pull values down into the range that start causing pop and burbles. If you're disputing my theory perhaps you could offer alternate views?

Yes you should be able to without incident. If you find the car displays any drive-ability issues then I would just keep the stock values at the .20 and higher airmass and maybe blend them into the .16 and lower. .12 and lower are the hard decel areas and it blends into the .16 row at times so you might have to play with it.

For what it's worth my .08-.16 rows are lower than this table in Minimum Base Spark but are exactly whats shows in the image for Long Term Minimum. I do it this way since I still have DFCO enabled. If you disable DFCO you can just make both tables the same. I get a good amount of nice pops and burbles before and during DFCO entry and then they stop when fuel is cut and the spark references the Long Term Minimum table. Perfect for how I want my Z06 to sound.

I put the 2020 LT1 Camaro tables into my 18 2SS 1LE and when dfco is disabled, its just obnoxious and I feel like my cats are getting destroyed. Put those back to stock like a week later lol

If you leave DFCO enabled in the tune it will only pop on transition into fuel cut. With the stock manifolds and exhaust it sounds good. If you add headers and a Catback I can see how it would be too much.

What is the reason for DFCO? Fuel mileage?

I tried what you posted TriPinTaZ on my L86 with headers and no cats and DFCO enabled. But I didn't really here any difference. I'm going to take 5 more out of if and see what it sounds like. I would like to just get a-little gargle and pop.-
