Ive been trying to figure out the vss math, and I got the speedo within 1mph of the GPS, but the scanner 10mph off of the car. The car has locked the TC many times, but when I move the tran/rev numbers it stopped, and I cant find it. the car seems to shift 1-4 fine. How do I calculate the trans/rev??
I think ive found that the car has 4:56 gears in it! I got the body from a guy, and the last owner said it had 3:73. When I put 4:10 in the wiz it got closer to my GPS numbers, and when I put 4:56 it came almost exact. TCC still didn't lock, but shifting is almost right.
Rebuilt the rear today, it had 4.10 gears, I installed 3.73 into it. The speedo is way off, and im just all over the place trying to figure out how to get the right shift points. Anyone has a 98 that's been upgraded to a 2002 ecm????????
