    Vortec ecm o2 failover

    Hey guys. I have another truck I need to 411 swap. Just haven't had time yet so it still has the original ecm for 96-98 vortec trucks. The exhaust setup only has a single o2 bung. If I install bank1 sensor 1 will the ecm failover bank 2 to bank 1? Or will it stay out of closed loop if I don't put both sensors in? Any idea?

    96-97 black box PCMS are not the same as 98-99 black box. And 96-97 are not supported with HPT.
