    Misfire counter not working

Looking for a clue guys. Mpvi2 , vcm scanner when logging the misfire counter is staying on zero therefore I believe I can't see any misfires (which I believe I have). I've set it up with current and history pids. As well as misfire cycle pid. (5.7 vortec 0411 pcm) I'm Almost positive it has the capabilities as my tuner guy pointed a few misfires out last year while tuning it before I got my own hp.

Did you mess with any of the misfire tables? Post a tune?

Okay, I just wanted to check that the tables were intact.. it appears that they are. And if it worked on mpvi1 then i guess the change is awful suspect.. Have you emailed support?

yes they suggested loading a different tune. they suggested if i had a stock tune to try it. i didn't have one so i found one in the repository and apparently had it open in editor (which i thought was ok) and purchased 2 credits then went to write it to my pcm and it said my pcm wasn't licensed. does this sound right? will i have to read my pcm and have it open when buying the license?

Sucks you licensed that tune.. What I'd have done is license the tune pulled off your computer, then use the compare function to change whats needed.

I wonder if it's inherent to the 0411/ l31 (5.7 vortec) pairing? With the compare feature I wouldve only gotten calibrations I think. Wouldn't I be looking more towards the operating system....not sure if I'm barking up the right tree here

Maybe I'm wrong here, I haven't tried it, but i think you can change OS with the segment swapper?
