    Angry Starts then stalls

    New LS2 swap. I deleted the Vats but the engine starts then stalls out right away. I installed another E40 and it stays running with that tune but I need to put it back were it came from.

    Read & save the tune from the working ECM, load it as a compare file with your non-working ECM.

    DID you do write entire with vats delete .Must on gen 4 not like gen 3 .

    Do you have a maf on this swap? How about cats? Aftermarket cam?

    Yes, the MAF is inplace but no CATS. Not sure about the cam. O2's aren't hooked up yet but that shouldn't be causing the start then stall problem. As I said earlier, it runs with another E40 hooked up.

    Make your base idle spark 16 instead of 13 and add 3.00 to your base running airflow--airflow final minimum chart, from 250 to 2000 rpm and see if it will start. Check to see that you have the correct map sensor that your tune calls for (GM 1 bar). At key on, engine off--what does your map sensor read??
