    05 Silverado engine build

So we are building a 30 over 6.0 liter Vinci Butt kicker cam 317 heads. Looking for insight on whether to use the stock intake or a similar stock intake that flows better or accepts bigger throttle body. Also, will the stock injectors be enough or what would be a mild upgrade? THanks in advance for all input. And yes I want a stock GM intake. We are truck pulling and it requires stock intake.

The GEN 4 intake is larger, comes on trail blazer SS trucks and any 4.8/5.3 from 2007.5-2013. Not sure what throttle body you'd have to run because it's a 4 bolt manifold compared to your 3 bolt now.

No, you will not have enough fuel. Go with 8.1 injectors that are 31lb/hr or find an newer intake with injectors and swap the plugs around or buy adapters. The 8.1's won't fit with the newer intake through, not with the stock fuel rails anyway. Probably will want a better fuel pump or at least make sure whatever pump you have can support the power it will make.

Sorta opens a can of worms with parts though, finding a complete intake with rails makes things easier.

It'll still make great torque with the stock intake and throttle body though, if you stay with that.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
