I Know this isnt the appropriate place for tech advice, but hear me out.
gen 4 6.0 fleet vehicles, had a cyl 3 and 5 misfire, leak down test verified compression was comming back through the intake, pulled heads and sure enough the intake valves are bent.
I have several engines out of wrecked trucks and picked one for 2 donor heads, same engine, same year.
When i pulled the heads off the donor engine, it also has impressions in the piston from valve contact on cyl 3 and 5..
what gives?
is the vvt Providing too much advance?
or is my timing chain worn ?
donor engine has unknown miles however the engine in the truck has 200k.
I have several gen 4 engines with 300k on the fleet.
