4l65 harsh / clunk from park to drive

any advice on a clunk or harsh shift from park into drive or reverse? This is a new build, trans is behind a gen 4, 4.8L. Everything works in the trans, was just tuning shift points, shift timing, and removed torque reduction.

If the shift timing is too low... could that cause this problem?

Also, any advice on why this thing also want to bog after a shift under light throttle.... even with the shift points (mph) raised? This is in a 4700lb truck with 3.54 gears and 33" tires. Been fighting this problem on a couple of them. engine tune and fuel numbers look great.

    Thanks for any help.

    What's the force motor current?
Is the trans built or does it have a shift kit in it?

I dont know what the current is. What should it be, or watch should I be watching for.
The transmission is a fresh build.... "built for 400hp" is all I know. Maybe slightly stronger then stock, but nothing crazy.
