    E92 Two Step Launch Control

Has anyone had success adding a two step rev limiter to the E92 ECM? Forum search doesn't really bring up much content from the current decade.

If you've pulled this off, can you share the best balance of hardware and tuning changes? Planning to work on this, and was hoping to not have to re-invent the wheel.

    Thanks in advance!

I have mine connected to my brake light switch on automatic. You can also connect it to clutch switch for manual.

That looks great. Thanks for sharing!

Have you used this with an E92 ECM? And did you have to do anything special to keep the ECM from not being happy with the engine speed not doing what was expected?

I must correct myself. I had a similar 2-Step connected on an S197 Mustang to the brake light switch as an adjustable launch control. It worked great on the Ford.

My intention is to try the same on my C7 auto. I have only used it to act as a rev limiter to kick in slightly before the E92 limiter on the stock tune. When manually shifting it would hit the MSD limit before the E92 limit. If I was late shifting the engine would “stutter” rather than “fall on its face” before grabbing a late shift.

I’ll report back after getting it wired to the brake light switch. I have deleted DoD entirely and do not plan to manually shift very much in the future.
