can you post the file where its not going into pe mode? personally what I would try is flashing with tunercat, then doing a read with hptuners and then do a compare to see if something is changed between the two tunes.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    common things...
PE delay RPM and Enrichment rate...
make sure PE delay is 0 and enrichment rate is atleast 1 preferrably higher

    thats my guess

    Also...
    post your HPT file...
I know many of us could probably find the issue immediately if we could see the file

yeah i would just assume its not meeting some criteria to get into pe...the trucks have a timer system to go into pe...if you set the rpm trigger to 0 it cancels out the timer from what I understand...I've seen it on some colorado's I've tuned...they wont go into pe at any point in 1st gear

also, make sure you set the PE enable torque to 0%. Commonly it is set to 100% on late model trucks.

Yes. Check your torque requirement like chris said, and probably check your TPS needed for it to step into PE (hot and cold).

...You could snag a tune of the repository and copy the PE stuff out, if you're so lazy and inclined to do so. lol

here is the tune I am working with right now for my truck.I am gonna dig up the ogs also, thanks again guys,I will stand up and say I am wrong but I think I have everything in line.
All that KR in this log of course was due to the fueling not being there, when upload with TC there was no KR at all,of course this is expected seeing it was lean

No,messed with that many times today.LOL Set it at 0,30,50,75 and at 100%,even with those changes no PE mode.
I think there is a table maybe that is missing.I am not worried about it as it has been flashed with tunercat for the time being,I know the guys at HPT will get it fixed as I really think it is alittle bug,but no biggie.I am getting all the fueling now with TC flashed to it

how exactly are you determining that your not entering open loop? It "looks" as if its hitting it around 80-85 mph on some and 55mph on another so the timer is still active so there is something amiss, but you should be at least logging the open/closed loop status bit & or commanded afr.

well, when flashed with HPT I looked at the narrowbands in the logs, and on the wideband.
After I flashed it with TC,the narrowbands went where they were suppost to (about) for a narrowband, and the wideband was where I wanted it form a 12.5-13.0 A/F.
On some logs with HPt flashed,PE kicked in at exactly 5100RPM but nothing under.I am about to take it out with some changes to see how it goes.

I would definitly like to see a run with the tq thing set to 0% I would assume the hysterisis needs to be set to 0 as well, then take a scan with the commanded afr & open/closed loop status bits being logged...if it doesnt fix the issue theres obviously something missing that needs to be inserted into this file.

BTW: There is an updated Operating System for the `06 trucks. You may want to get the update. Don't know if you have it already though.
