in previous versions of the scanner i was able to command idle speed during scanning. im currently hooked up to an acadia and would like to command it to hold idle at 3k but the scanner in vcm controls only has transmission functions

Please open a support ticket, keep in mind we only offer special vehicle functions on ECM's we support and if its a BOSCH ecm I don't think we offer any special functions for those and likely never will.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
