    Fake injectors on Ebay??

I am looking for some injectors for a mild cammed lq4 build. From what I read the stock 24# injectors are pushing it. Something in the mid 30's #/hr should be plenty. I have been looking at the newer 5.3 or 6.0 flex injectors. GM #'s 12613412 and 12613411 are the part numbers I have been looking at.

I really like purchasing from ebay. I've had good luck with most of the things I buy on there. There are TONS of both part numbers on ebay now. Many of them say they are factory take offs. Many are from china??? I think most of these are fakes. It seems like there are more and more counterfeit things on ebay now.

Is there any way to verify the origin/genuinness of inectors? I cannot see a difference between the suspected fakes and the pics of genuine GM injectors.

Do any of you guys have an avenue for injectors at a inexpensive price?

Another option is the local pull a part. There are always flex fuel trucks at the yard. I just don't know how long some of those have been sitting.

I am a cheap bastard price is important, but I want reliability.

    Any info is appreciated.

    How cheap is cheap?
Have had great success with fuelinjectorconnection.com and their injector data is on point. Bottom of page 2 under LS injectors is LQ4 36lb drop in for $440, cheap insurance for reliability and accuracy.

I've bought the 6.0 injectors with real GM parts numbers on from ebay, didn't have any issue there.

They were like $120 for the set I think.

Even see if you can snag some stock 8.1 vortec injectors, those are plug and play and you can swipe the data straight from a tune file in the repository.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

$440 is well more than I was wanting to pay. If this were a high dollar forced induction build I may consider something like that.I have found some rebuilt stock units for $120 or so and that is about where I was wanting to stay. $200 would be my max.

Some of the injectors that I was referring to were ridiculously cheap, like $40-$60 for a set of 8. They claim to be factory take offs. Why in the world they are taking them off I don't understand. I just don't see how they can be that cheap. I always heard if it looks too good to be true it probably is.

I looked into the 8.1 marine injectors and the truck injectors a little bit. I drive the truck all over the country, and was kind of thinking that they may be hard to find replacements if I ever had a problem out in BFE.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

you can get ls9 injectors and use injector spacers and change the connector end over to ev6 uscar connectors.

zzp sells the lucas 42# injectors used in the ecotecs from the gm upgrade kits for the supercharged 2.0 for $318 a set of 8, still may need spacers and connector conversion.

but here we are back at that $400 approximated cost not including the spacers and connector conversion.
not to be an asshole but $400 is a very cheap as far as injectors go.
ID injectors are roughly $1000 a set and if you want to really feel cheap my moran billet atomizers 235 lb/hr injectors from years ago were roughly $200 per injector.

You can get the GTP supercharged injectors pretty cheap on Ebay they flow 42lbs at 58psi. My set was $150 shipped, the data is readily available and they work great plus leave room to grow for future mods. I had 8.1 injectors and couldn't get the engine to run right it never liked them for some reason.

if you go with used or take off injectors,,, make sure you test each one before firing the engine,,,, seen a guy bend a rod on first crank of his new "used" injectors when one of them was stuck open from having old gas go bad in the injector

I bought 2 set's of the 12613411 on ebay for $25 a set new. All of them worked. I did decap them and had them flowed, 77lb/hr. The 12613412 flow a little more than the 12613411

Well, did they look real, do they say denso or Delphi on them?

Maybe they are real. I just thought it seemed too cheap

They were real. Exact same as the injectors that came with a nnbs intake I bought

Most of the sellers I messaged were people that either did not know anything about injectors, or could barely communicate in English. I just didn't trust them. Glad to hear a couple of you had good luck with the cheaper ones though.

I wound up finding a place that buys core injectors from a place that dismantles engines. They supposedly ohm, disassemble, clean, reassemble, and flow match and test them within 1%. I bought some 5.3 flex injectors that are 33#/hour. They were $106 for a set of 8.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

I know this is an old thread but does anybody know where this place is that "ohm, disassemble, clean, reassemble, and flow match and test them within 1%." injectors and then sell them for a decent price?

I know this is almost a year later but I took gamble and bought a set of 8 Delphi 36lb injectors. I bought them off glenns auto performance website and they work great.

I try to keep my customers MILES away from fleabay and Amazon for injector purchases. Most people that buy injectors shouldn't be buying them, themselves.

for my ls I already buy china injectors on ebay, look same with number and brand but not same never buy this!
too bad quality, the nozzle cap fall into the engine when I install them, install and remove many time to obtain correct install with new cap and softer o ring.
but they have very lowest flow than the expected, losing time on tune, need to buy real used one with same number and the flow are perfect.
and the chinese refund me, but try to obtain money back by paypal and I have to fight to keep the refund.
but after open and close the intake pipe for this scrapy injectors, very angry do to that I do a error , some day after my engine eat a hose clamp...piston in parts, cylinder broken... I waste a lot of time and money for saving some dollars with chinese injectors.
chineses... you want shit? they sell shit.
