warm start fat then lean 08 G8 LSA 2bar OS

OK... check out the log and file....I am trying to get my VE tables tuned and im in SD mode. When I let the car sit for 15 mins or so and crank it up its about 10% fat. Then if I shut it off and restart it immediately it goes 10% lean. What could cause this. I am forcing open loop with the scanner in the log. I kept chasing my tail and could not figure out why.

    forged 370 L92 heads
    Good size PD blower cam
twin 450 map referenced pumps with 4psi hobb for the second pump at 55 psi at idle
    ID1000 injectors

Let me know what yall think!

Go to your DTC's and make P0101,102,103 MIL on first error. Then maf hi fail 1 and fail low 2. Then you will be in sd mode.
You are going to drive yourself crazy doing that starting and restarting. Before you start the car open the scanner, key on, and clear fuel trims, start it, let it run a couple of minutes and then start logging.

    Thanks for the reply

Do I still have to fail it when I have the SD patch applied? I thought that's what the patch took care of.

    Still have to fail it.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

One last question. If I tune the ve then tune the maf can I change the maf to no error reported or will it cause the ecm to act funny still unless it's set to mil on first? Just seeing if I can run SD without a light on.

If you uncheck the boxes for the light, the light will stay off. If you are asking about showing codes for inspection, then the codes will still be there. You can't change from MIL on first error to anything else and still be in SD mode. I hope I understood the question?
If you tune the maf also, then you can run blended mode for inspection and change 101-102-103 back to mil on second, put dynamic back to std and whatever else you turned off.
