Wow, I bet those little cars could be pretty fun with a little tune running on E!

been wanting to mess with it but knowing how notorious these things are about breaking pistons, i'm just going to leave it stock. Lol

Yes they do. P0300 - low compression cylinder one usually. If you catch it in time you may avoid cylinder wall damage. however you get a few curveballs here and there with a cyl 2,3 and 4 for time to time

So glad I found this thread. Thanks for posting the tune. I'm going to have to check it out when I'm at a computer. I put a Cruze turbo on my chevy spark and installed a flex fuel sensor. Some of the tables in this tune should be helpful for me. Thanks again!

I will soon be plugging into my 2018 Cruze for the first time to copy the stock file.
    Any tips?
Maybe I will look for the flex fuel sensor as well. Would be nice to play with it though I have not seen them advertised to be flex fuel. A lot has been posted on the LSPI problem. The 2016.5 should have different programming than older ones with the 2018/19 being solved for the most part.
    Tnx

When you download the stock tune of your 2018 Cruze, in the tune under Fuel / Flex Fuel / there is a enable/disable option. If your car has a flexfuel sensor, then that option in the tune will read "Enabled". If it says "Disabled", that means you don't have a flex fuel sensor.
If the stock tune doesn't have that FlexFuel Option, that means your engine doesn't have the proper fuel system to support flexfuel,... ie bigger injectors and whatnot.

I have a 2018 cruze. Factory enabled flex fuel and according to flow rate on injectors it has 76 lb/hr. Logging the car the alcohol % stays at 9.8% put 2 gallons E85 just to see what would happen and my ltft are up 25-27% the alcohol % hasnt moved and still says stoich is at 14.12. How do I know if it has a flex fuel sensor or if everything is working properly?

Change the Delay Volume and Transition Volume to 0 - sometimes takes long time for it to realize change in content with stock settings
