Question Starting on the ground floor...Questions & Capabilities & What to buy

I apologize if this is the wrong place to post this. I thought about the Ford forum, since I want to tune a 2015 Ford Mustang GT, but since I don't have it yet, I figured this might be the right place to start.

I have a lot of questions, I know. I've used tuners in the past (cobb, diablosport, etc) but never wrote tunes myself. I'd like to cross that bridge here, but wanted to know how difficult this will be.

My mustang is a manual transmission. I have an aftermarket cold air intake (Steeda) and I'd like to be able to apply the ford racing performance pack stage 2 to my car. Is there an easy way to do it? Are their files or guides or things like that where I could copy/paste the settings? I'm not really trying to tweak to get every last hp.

I would also like to enable a little "bark" on decel like dodge and other cars have. With this Ford, when you take your foot off the gas and compression brake, I don't get any crackles or pops. It actually seems a little bit wimpy.

On the contrary, the cold start is obnoxiously loud. I've read that is because of the fully retarded cams at startup. Is there functionality to basically have the car start as if it was warm? (Basically return the cams to a normal setting?)

That's it though. No cams, e85, superchargers, ghost cams, etc...

Will this be able to do what I want? I emailed Bama and Steeda about the cold start thing and they said the SCT can't do it. I heard livernois and lund can do it, but I'd rather learn how to do it myself.

If this does what I want, do I just need the VCM + MPVI2 and 2 credits? Looks like it is $400.

Forgive all the questions, and I'm guessing I'm way oversimplifying it (e.g. lots of tables to be changed for something I type in a few words).

    Thank you

MPVI2 and 2 credits will get you up and running tuning this vehicle.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

yes, you can do everything you are asking about with hpt. The copy/paste of other tunes, or settings, well you will have to find those settings, either from pulling tunes from vehicles with those settings, or from tunes in the repository, or getting the correct settings from the manufacturers of the items. Or you could "tune" the for the correct settings. Now everything else is easily accomplished within the software

Thank you both, picked up the MPVI2 and read the tune an hour ago. Just looking over it now.
